Role overview

We are looking for an innovative candidate with a client-centered approach – someone who is passionate about hospitality and revolutionising the way analytics are conducted and eager to have an impact both internally and at the client level. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to represent Paperchase in the field and manage your own schedule to sell our accounting services to the top restaurants in the UK. Someone who has come from a background in operations and has the interpersonal skills who is confident, ambitious, and passionate will make the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities and duties

In this role, no day is ever the same. You will split your week with admin days and field days. Admin days will be spent preparing for your field days. This will involve researching, emailing clients, arranging meetings, creating proposals and contracts. Whilst fields days will be spent selling directly to restaurants, meeting with clients and closing sales opportunities. This will be a new role in the organisation, and you will be reporting directly to the head of sales. You will be the first of a team of salespeople and will have an endless opportunity to grow and develop with the company.

  • Act as the lead on reaching out to prospective clients in hospitality space.
  • Outbound cold-calling & email key decision-makers to set appointments
  • Qualifying and creating opportunities from inbound leads and marketing initiatives
  • Organise and execute kick-off calls with interested parties.
  • Plan, prepare and present at high impact meetings with both prospects and existing clients
  • Maintain client communications through campaign ideation.
  • Assist our sales leadership in maintaining a strong, supportive and fun environment
  • Work alongside Account Management, Analytics, and Corporate Development Team leaders to develop new business, renewals and up sells
  • Manager internal Paperchase CRM systems to update all client details.
  • Refine and enhance business development processes and tools to improve efficiency.
  • Assist with the development of partnership strategies to engrain local and national networks to support the growth strategy.

Qualifications and skills

This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary with an uncapped monthly commission. The commission is based on your own efforts and is highly achievable. Our office is in East Croydon, but your time will also be spent in the field. So please expect to travel to Croydon and the City.
